Roasted Yams is one of the most requested oven roasted potato recipes on this site.  Is it any wonder?  Roasted Yams taste great, are easy to make, and is truly an American traditional food.

How To Make Roasted Yams

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of yams, cut them width wise into 1 inch thick pieces
  • 2 cups of baby corn cobs, halved
  • 1 1/2 cups wax beans, halved
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon fresh savory, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh tarragon, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Combine oil, garlic, savory, and tarragon.
  3. In a non-stick pan, add the yams, baby corn cobs, and wax beans. Coat well with the oil mixture.
  4. Bake for 1 hour or until the yams are soft and browned.
  5. Serve hot
