Ingredients
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons salad oil
- 2- 1 pound cans of tomatoes, cut up
- 2- 6 ounce cans tomato paste
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano, crushed
- 1 bay leaf

- Hot cooked spaghetti
How To Make Italian Meatballs and Spaghetti Recipe
- Cook onion and garlic in hot oil tell tender but not brown.
- Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar, salt, pepper, oregano and bay leaf.
- Simmer uncovered 30 minutes; remove bay leaf.
- Add Italian Meatballs and continue cooking loosely covered about 30 minutes longer.
- Serve over hot spaghetti.
- Top with grated Parmesan cheese
- Serves 6
